U.S. Equipment Sales and Rentals is recruiting for a Territory Sales Representative who will drive the sales, rentals, parts and service of aggregate processing equipment across the company’s Midwest territory of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. We are seeking an experienced individual who takes pride in their work and who will enjoy the challenge of being an integral part of the company’s growth. The successful candidate will be based in one of the Company’s three-state markets.

U.S. Equipment Sales and Rentals provides a competitive line-up of aggregate processing equipment from McCloskey, McCloskey Washing Systems (MWS), MDS and other suppliers.

U.S. Equipment delivers complex aggregate processing solutions in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri across multiple industries: organic mulch and soil production, quarry operations, aggregate processing, recycling and road construction. In addition, the company maintains an extensive remote service capability within the region. We pride ourselves in our commitment to our customers and are dedicated to supporting their business.

The successful applicant will support the company by fulfilling these job responsibilities:

Qualifications - the ideal candidate will possess the following:

+ Two to five years’ experience selling crushing, screening, conveying, washing, and other aggregate processing equipment.
+ Knowledge of a wide range of aggregate equipment and supporting machinery.
+ Strong engineering/mechanical aptitude with ability to understand machinery operation and troubleshoot system issues.
+ Ability to travel throughout the territory.
+ Excellent interpersonal capabilities and strong communication skills.
+ Team player with an orientation towards responsive customer support.
+ Meet established sales quotas, revenue goals and expense allowances to ensure achievement of regional business plan.
+ Research and develop potential prospects, maintain contact info and progress within the Company’s CRM system.
+ Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments in region.
+ Professionally communicate and coordinate with main office support staff on a regular basis.
+ Monitor market environment to identify new sales opportunities.
+ Must possess common sense and ability to react quickly to unexpected circumstances.
+ Work with a fast pace and a strong sense of urgency.
+ Strong capabilities in the use of standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and knowledge of typical aggregate system planning software such as AggFlow.
+ Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
+ Strong references from former employers and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits:

Includes competitive salary (level depending on experience) and commission program, 401(k) retirement match, medical, vision and dental insurance and other benefits. Employees receive paid time off including vacation and holidays.
